What are the Requirements for Freight Contracts?

In each transportation method, contracts are created between the sending company and the carrier company. Certain conditions must be met in order for freight contracts to be valid in maritime transport. These conditions are as follows;

- Goods transportation must be completed by sea in order to conclude freight contracts.
- In freight contracts, it should be promised that all goods will be transported.
- The cargo mentioned in the contract should not be under the sovereignty of the carrier company.
- A certain price must be paid to the carrier or the owner of the ship for the transportation of goods. If the freight cost is allocated as a forty barn contract, this amount should be calculated.
